Welcome to Eagles’ Nest! This highly acclaimed 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath and amenity-rich Lake Michigan vacation home, boasts private stairs to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan! With 80 steps to Lake Michigan’s shores and a recently added seawall, this is one of a few homes that have an accessible, beautiful beach!
Outside, you will enjoy a year-round private hot tub built into a wrap-around deck, a pergola overlooking unforgettable sunsets, hiking on 140 acres of marked trails, NEW living room furniture, outdoor furniture, grilling options (gas & charcoal), watching the wildlife (including six area mature bald eagles - which were recently featured on a PBS documentary), and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs.
Inside, you will enjoy a thoroughly clean and tastefully updated home that features beautiful cabinetry, a well-stocked kitchen, new carpets, plenty of activities for a getaway, two 55” TVs with cable, three bedrooms, and one additional common sleeping area with two beds and a bunk bed. With a fantastic cleaner, we often are told the home is the cleanest rental property guests have ever stayed at. With all of the amenities, capacity for this vacation home is eight adults and children. Please note the home is PET-FREE and the indoor fireplace is not available due to insurance reasons.
If you are not enjoying the lake, hot tub, or the beautiful colors (especially in the fall), downtown Manistee and Ludington are not far out of reach. With access to fishing charters, golfing at Manistee National or Arcadia Bluffs, skiing at Crystal Mountain, or exploring the Manistee National Forest, Northern Michigan has it all!

Summary: This was by far the best vrbo I have stayed at. The house was so well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, spices, etc. There were lots of games and books available. The house was cozy and very clean. Amazing views, lots of space, wonderful hot tub, lots of options available for relaxing. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. This was the perfect rental for a relaxing weekend with friends. I highly recommend Eagle’s Nest!

Summary: My sisters and cousin and I found our experience at The Eagle's Nest to be welcoming, fun, and comfortable. The home was clean, well-stocked had plenty of space, bedrooms, wall hooks, and privacy to accommodate 5 adults. (Loved having the half-bath in the basement, btw.) We woke to a beautiful view of Lake Michigan, listened to the steady sound of crashing waves, and took in stunning sunsets. The place had a warm, inviting energy, like staying at a friend's house. There were comfy blankets and soft lighting for an intimate feel. It felt bigger and flowed better than the pictures show. Everything was in working order and it had a fully-equipped kitchen. Extras like batteries, teas, night lights were available. The large dining table seated six comfortably. We took advantage of the extensive board games available, the wide selection of books, and were impressed by the Disney movie collection. WiFi was strong and the majority had cell service (AT&T was spotty, Verizon was solid). The hot tub was a nice feature, clean and easy to operate. The fire pit was large, the outdoor shower was useful, and the tree swing was a hit. The owners had a thorough welcome guide with the best layout of any rental I’ve stayed at. We hiked areas within 50 miles every day. Charming Manistee was close, has grocery stores, and a seasonal ‘Ghost Ship’ that 2 of us attempted. Thank you, Abby and Kyle, for opening your lovely home to renters!

Summary: The property is very well kept and in a quiet area. Close to many hiking trails, dunes, bluffs and beaches. The sunsets were stunning and sounds of waves at the shore were hypnotic. We saw the northern lights and the area regal eagle too.

Summary: My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The house is charming and stocked with everything you could need. The hot tub, fire pit and breathtaking views of Lake Michigan make this property one-of-a-kind. Great communication with owners Abby and Kyle. Would book again in a heartbeat.
